Fieldwork Design Group is a Chicago-based, WBE-certified, landscape architecture and urban design office.  We provide professional services to architects, developers, civil engineers, non-profit groups, and municipalities on a variety of project types.

Whether it is a public plaza or a private garden, a nature playground or a sportsfield, a luxury residence or supportive housing, we believe that landscape has the power to connect people to a specific place, a regional ecology, and to each other. Our goal for every project is to leverage the power of landscape to provide a well-functioning, amenity-rich, beautiful site for the people who will inhabit it.

We are well-versed in LEED, Green enterprise, and the Sustainable Sites Initiative certification processes. Whether a project will be certified or not, we look for opportunities to implement the best stormwater management strategies, to provide connectivity for all modes of transportation - biking, walking, and public transit  -  and to use durable, high-performing plant and hardscape materials to create beautiful landscapes.
